I agree with Christaan, spot on with the directions. I am just beginning to get to grips with these two downstroke dim licks. The same kind of pattern is everywhere. At first I thought it a bit odd but now I can't wait to get it smooth. So many licks depend on it. I would agree with the steps you outlined also

Sounds like an G dim chord to my ears, and not the C7b9b13 in the tab, both of which sound great.
G dim. C7b9b13 ------------------------ --2----------------2--- --0----------------1--- --2----------------2--- --1----------------1--- ------------------------
Am I right in thinking that the C7 is the V of the root key, but seeing that it is going to F+ (the V of This Lydian mode), the G dim makes more sense as a passing chord?
Is there a particular concert pitch that is commonly used. I notice in some recordings that the guitar is not tuned at A=440, usually it is lower or higher by around a semitone. I was wondering what Stochelo normally tunes to and does it vary depending on who Stochelo is working with.
Any idea when the next improv session wiil be. G minor was spectacular. I will not mind playing these again and again and again in different keys. I actually signed up this month hoping there would be another one.
I have just read other posts about the improv section and my question is answered. lol. Very happy about the next lessons coming up.
